Danielle was such a helpful part of my semester. her genuine concern for me is something i will never forget. she and her teaching and techniques are incredibly effective. She makes singing even more fun.
• Professor Hartman knows her students and she knows her craft. She sees things in her students that they don't know that they are capable of and she knows how to bring it out of them. I truly surprised myself by the growth that I made this semester and I will most definitely be returning to work with her more. I've had many music teachers that helped me grow, but none have learned how quickly my voice works than she has. I am beyond grateful for her and I would love for her to have the opportunity to work with the other choirs and music things on campus.
• Danielle is the best voice teacher I have ever had, I have grown more as a singer in the last year than the last 8 combined.
• Danielle is the absolute best music teacher I have ever had in my life. I consider myself a semi-experienced vocal student. I have had 6 total voice teachers since the beginning of my journey in 2018, and none have resonated with me the way Danielle Hartman has in the short amount of time I have been blessed to work with her. She cares so deeply for us as both performers and individuals, and the growth within a semester's time is incredibly evident when evaluated side by side. It is my opinion, as well as many others, that if a full time position becomes available on this campus within the music department, especially as a choir director or some other form of advanced vocal teacher, she is beyond qualified for the gig and would allow our campus' singers to come together and thrive as a unit. She is truly remarkable. I hope everyone else I have spoken to on this matter fills out these evals as I have, just so you can see how dead serious I am about this. Incredible instructor.

• I would 100% recommend this course, and this professor to another student. I was challenged and have grown so much as a singer and even as a person because of this course. The material was specifically shaped to fit my voice, my range, and the things I'm interested in working on. It was something that gave me the space to step away from the craziness of classes but also challenged me and pushed me to work just as hard.

• The absolute most growth I have had as a performer within a 9 month span. Absolute mastery at finding specific exercises and adjustments to propel my performances forward. Very pleasant and accepting environment with an equal focus on growth and comfort. I loved the recital replacing juries.
